At Rill & Decker Architects we run ArchiCAD on Mac OS X. If you work at Rill & Decker, this is your stuff. If you don't, but you work in ArchiCAD, you may find something interesting. Anybody else, I don't know.

If you have ever tried to print a half-size set directly on the WINPRINT thing, you probably never tried again, because it took ten times longer than it should have. This is a limitation of the printer, but here's a pretty good workaround.

Note the reduction takes place here.

Also note the small, weird paper size. This is for an E size sheet, and it doesn't fit precisely on the paper; the margins are big. For D size originals, use the 'Arc B' size.

Instead of printing the set, save it as a PDF.

Open the PDF and print it at 100%, using the appropriate miniaturized sheet size. It should come out of the plotter in a normal-seeming amount of time.
