At Rill Architects we run ArchiCAD on macOS. If you work at Rill, this is your stuff. If you don't, but you work in ArchiCAD, you may find something interesting. Anybody else, I don't know.

I have updated the object Gutter JAM8. You can display the position of the downspouts on any/all of the three stories below, at heights you specify.

The primary purpose of this is to show slab penetrations.

For each story, there are 2 cut heights. Both are relative to Project Zero. To show a circle, use the same elevation for both. If the bottom cut is lower than the top, more of the 'roof plan' of the downspout will be shown. This is to show the spout bending around something such as a water table. If you don't see the bend like you think you should, lower the second cut.

You must have the object set to display on the appropriate stories. 'All Stories' is recommended; then you can decide not to show on some stories by putting zero in the distance. The story numbers are relative to the home story of the gutter, i.e., '1' means one story down, not story number 1.

Limitation:
You cannot reposition the spout on the lower stories. Try it and you'll end up dragging the whole gutter. A no-no. I can imagine how this would be possible, but right now I'm too tired. Another time. Remember that you can reposition the spout by arrow-dragging it on any story where the gutter is visible. Drag it off the end to delete it!
